Introducing Kronos
Markets, macro, and risk in a world that changes fast
About Kronos
Kronos is the voice of the Clockwise investment framework.
We created this Substack because markets no longer behave the way most commentary assumes they do. The pace of change has accelerated, narratives flip faster, and traditional signals often conflict with one another. In that environment, static forecasts and one size fits all views break down quickly.
Clockwise was built around a simple idea. Markets move through time, and successful strategies must adapt as conditions change. Kronos exists to communicate how we interpret those shifts in real time across markets, macro, and risk, and how we think about navigating them.
Why Now
This Substack was launched for one reason. To make sense of fast changing markets without oversimplifying them.
Today’s market environment is shaped by rapid policy responses, shifting growth dynamics, evolving participation from retail investors, and increasing sensitivity to liquidity and positioning. Information is abundant, but clarity is scarce. Much of what passes for market commentary either reacts to headlines or relies on frameworks designed for slower, more stable regimes.
Kronos is where we step back from the noise and share how we are interpreting what matters. Not with certainty, but with structure. This is not about calling tops or bottoms. It is about understanding the state of the market and how that state is changing over time.

What This Is and What It Is Not
Kronos is not a prediction engine. And it is not built around a single permanent thesis.
It is a place where we share how we are thinking, what we are watching, and how we are adapting as markets change. Sometimes that means leaning in. Sometimes it means pulling back. Often it means acknowledging uncertainty rather than forcing conviction.
Markets change fast. Strategies that do not adapt tend to lag.
This Substack exists to document that adaptation in real time.
